Resume Real Estate
A recruiter will spend 10 seconds reviewing your resume on average. Having the most critical information in the right spot is essential!
1. You always want a professional summary and a section of key skills at the top of the resume.
2. Your job history should start with the most recent experience
3. Recruiters and hiring managers are most interested in what you’ve been doing for the past 10-15 year max. Feel free to omit anything older.
4. If you do have something really cool that dates beyond 10-15 years, consider making a nod to it in the summary. IE “Additional previous experience includes…”
